David Brown is a world-renowned physician and anesthesiologist, a leading expert on pain management, and a survivor of his own life-threatening illness. His illness gave him a deep and personal understanding of the needs of patients and families facing end-of-life decisions. Prior to founding Curadux, Brown practiced medicine for 37 years in both the operating rooms and as a physician focusing on chronic and cancer pain at the world's elite healthcare institutions. He has led the departments of anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic, University of Texas – M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, and the Virginia Mason Medical Center, as well as serving as professor of anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic.
Alice Peterson has significant experience operating and growing new businesses. She most recently consulted to firms seeking profitable growth, and prior to that was a private equity partner and COO at PPL Group, where she concurrently founded and ran Big Shoulders Capital.
